Allegany County Jail inmate faces charges

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on July 18th, 2016, Deputies were notified by the Corrections Division that an inmate, who is currently incarcerated at the Allegany County Jail on other charges, had allegedly violated a Temporary Order of Protection on numerous occasions, by contacting the protected party named in the Temporary Order of Protection.

Following an investigation, Deputies then arrested Jamie M. Miller, age 26 of Angelica with four (4) separate counts of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

Miller was processed and then transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 Cash Bail or $20,000.00 Insurance Company Bond.  Miller will reappear in the Town of Amity Court on July 20th, 2016, for additional court action.
