Allegany County: Jail inmate found with heroin

A Wellsville man will spend an additional six months in jail after he pleaded guilty to felony promoting prison contraband and misdemeanor drug possession. Jeremiah Edwards, 24, of 3050 Riverside Drive admitted in court Friday that he possessed glassine baggies of heroin. Judge Thomas brown sentenced him to six months in the Allegany County jail and five years probation.
