7/20/16 8pm- On July 20, Troopers arrested David L. Richardson, 26 of Bolivar, for DWI impaired by drugs and other traffic charges. On July 7 at 12:56 p.m., Troopers responded to a report of a one car crash on Zimmer Road in the Town of Wirt. Troopers located a vehicle off the roadway and the operator had fled the scene. Allegany County 911 received a call for a man with a possible broken leg at the Sunny Hill campground near the scene of the crash. Troopers interviewed Richardson at the campground who allegedly admitted to operating the vehicle at the time of the incident. Richardson allegedly admitted to taking prescription drugs that were not his prior to driving. Richardson was flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC in Buffalo due to his leg injury. July 20, Richardson returned to SP Amity and was issued tickets for the DWI Drugs and other traffic tickets.
7/20/16 11:46am- State police arrested Levi J. Hunt, 34, of Wellsville. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. The incident occurred in the town of Wellsville.
7/21/16 2:59am- On July 21 at 1:31 a.m., Troopers arrested Karen L Melms, 37, of Portville, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. According to police, EMS was called to the residence of Melms for an unresponsive female. EMS and Troopers located Melms "asleep in the home" in the town of Genesee. A 5-year-old female was also in the home. Melms allegedly admitted to taking too many of her prescription medications and passing out. Melms was transported to the Olean General hospital. Allegany County Child Protective Services responded to assist with the child. While at the hospital, troopers said she was allegedly found to be in possession of other prescription narcotics that she did not possess a prescription for. Melms was processed at SP Amity and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Genesee court.
7/20/16 12:15pm- State police report the arrest of 27-year-old Katrena
Loveland of Arkport. She was charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the
welfare of a child. She was detained for court action. Troopers said the
alleged crime happened last week in the town of Dansville.
