Obituary: Schylar E. "Sky-Bug" Hyer, 16, Bath


BATH, NY.- Schylar E. "Sky-Bug" Hyer, 16, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 27, 2016. She was born in Corning, NY on January 22, 2000 the daughter of Raymond Hyer and Kathi Kazukiewicz. She just finished her Sophmore year at Haverling High School and was on the Honor roll. She had been a member of the Corning Track Team and Basketball team at Haverling. She was a member of the JV Cheerleading Squad for Basketball and Football and also participated in Cheerleading Competitions. She loved Elephants, music and painting. She was addicted to her baby sister. If it had a motor she ran it fast. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her friends. She was very passionate at all she did and touched a lot of hearts.
She was predeceased by her maternal great grandfather Richard (Martha) Blow, aunt Jennifer Rubin Kazukiewicz, aunt Laurel Hargrave, paternal great grandmother Anna (Rueben) Jacoby, great grandfather David Hyer, great uncle Lyle Hyer, grandmother Deb Hyer, great aunt Becky Stickler, great aunt Robin Pierce, great aunt Vicky Bush, great uncle Tom Jacoby, great grandmother Dee Lese, great grandfather Stephen LaBar Sr.She is survived by her mother Kathi (Tim) Bulkley, sisters Thea Kazukiewicz, Erica Bulkley, Desiree Bulkley, brother Isaiah Bulkley, niece Alexis Bulkley, maternal grandmother Dale Kazukiewicz, aunt Shannon (John) Carey, cousin Tiffany Carey, uncle Dan Cook, cousin Hannah Cook, uncle Jeremi Kazukiewicz, cousin Kiira Kazukiewicz, aunt Rebekah (Todd) Snyder, cousins Angelina Snyder, Gracelynn Snyder father Raymond (Steph) Hyer, sisters Angelica Hyer, Alyssa Hyer, brother Zachary Doyle, great grandmother Virginia Hyer, grandfather Ronald Hyer, several great aunts and uncles, uncle Rendell (Adrea) Hyer, cousin Caleb Hyer, very special cousin Cierra Hyer, uncle Roy Hyer, cousin Shilia Abbott, cousins Elizabeth and Chase Hyer, uncle Ronald Hyer II, uncle Stephen LaBar Jr., special uncle Shawn LaBarr, many other extended family, Schylar is also survived by her Cheerleading Team an Coaches.
Calling hours are being observed at the Bath Baptist Church on Friday July I, 2016 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday July 2, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 2, 2016 at 11:00am with Pastor Dale Kee Officiating. Private Committal Service will be at Nondaga Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Schylar's name to the Seneca Park Zoo Elephants Exhibit, 2222 ST. Paul Street, Rochester, NY. 14621 or to the Haverling Cheerleaders Squad, 25 Ellis Avenue, Bath, NY 14810. Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath.
