Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Sunday July 3, 2016

Wellsville Police arrested Jon C. Wheaton, 46, of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, Aggravated DWI w/BAC of .18% or more, and Inadequate or no Muffler.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on West State Street in the Village.  Wheaton was processed and released to a third party.  Wheaton is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 19th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Jonathon G. Armstrong Jr., age 35 of Wellsville, charging him with Public Lewdness, Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.  The charges stem from an incident that took place in Island Park in Wellsville.  Armstrong was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Armstrong was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $350.00 cash bail. Armstrong is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 21st at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Judith M. Burns, age 61 of Niagara Falls, charging her with Aggravted Unlicensed Operation 3rd and Speed in Zone.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on Trapping Brook Road in the Village of Wellsville.  Burns was issued traffic citations and released.  Burns is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 19th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police charged a 13 year old juvenile male with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree, a felony. The charges stem from an investigation into damage caused to the Trinity Lutheran Church playground on North Main Street. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket to appear at Allegany County Probation at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Natalie C. Rocker, age 52 of Wellsville, charging her with Petit Larceny.  The charge stems from an incident that took place at the Rub-A-Dub Laundromat in Wellsville.  Rocker was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Rocker was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $250.00 cash bail.  Rocker is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 19th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Joseph L. Mattison, age 61 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Mischief 4th and Harassment 2nd.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street in the Village.  Mattison was processed and arraigned before Town of Independence Judge Howe.  Mattison was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail.  Mattison is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 12th at 4:30 p.m.
