The town of Wellsville will hold a public hearing Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. at the municipal building. The issue will be to amend a local code enforcement law that deals with fire inspections. Rob Marsh, Wellsville (town) Code Enforcement Officer said the hearing regards a local law change that brings the Wellsville law into compliance with state mandates.
The hearing was first set for May, but (no offense to anyone), a comedy of errors postponed the hearing until Wednesday evening. Officials say the legal change is "routine."
