Buffalo man gets prison time for selling drugs in Wellsville

A Buffalo man will head to state prison after he admitted to selling drugs in the village of Wellsville last September. In Allegany County court, Maurice J. Roberson, 39, of Hagen Street, pleaded guilty to a single felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance, a B level felony. Judge Terrance Parker labeled Roberson a "predicate felon" on Friday and sentenced him to 3 1/2 years in prison. he'll also serve three years post-release supervision and must pay $100. According to Assistant District Attorney Mike Finn, Roberson possessed and then sold cocaine and heroin to an undercover agent with the Wellsville Police Department.
