Scene from major fire in Bath Thursday morning

At least one firefighter was injured and one building heavily damaged this morning on Conhocton Street in the village of Bath. The building, near the Dormann library, is described as a storage barn and was sending large plumes of smoke in the air. Firefighters from Bath and several area departments brought the blaze under control, but not before flames spread to an adjacent structure. One firefighter suffered a heat related illness. The cause is under investigation.
