Brooklyn man charged with felony crime in Wellsville - Police seek 2nd suspect

Wellsville Police arrested Ricky Jean-Marie, age 25 of Brooklyn, NY, charging him with Grand Larceny 3rd (Class D Felony) and Conspiracy 5th.  The charges stem from an incident that took place at K-Mart in Wellsville.  According to Police Chief Tim O'Grady, Jean-Marie and a second man allegedly used several stolen credit cards to make more than $6,000 in purchases at K-Mart on July 27th. O'Grady said the men made the purchases at different check out points throughout that day. The Chief said police are actively searching for the second suspect. Jean-Marie was transported from the Monroe County Jail, processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge Chris O’Connor.  Jean-Marie was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $15,000.00 cash bail.  Jean-Marie is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 20th at 4:30 p.m.
