JCC, Alfred State Announce Transfer Agreement

Jamestown Community College (JCC) and Alfred State College have signed an articulation agreement that allows JCC graduates to transfer easily into Alfred State’s health sciences program.
The agreement guarantees junior standing for JCC students who graduate with an Associate in Science degree, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, and a minimum overall grade point average of 2.5 for all courses taken in mathematics, sciences, and computer science.
JCC students are also guaranteed the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree in four semesters if they take specified courses as part of their associate's degree. Students can transfer up to the equivalent of 82 Alfred State required credits from JCC, leaving as few as 42 credits to be completed at Alfred State.
