New Hudson man gets prison time in drug case

A New Hudson man who possessed and sold narcotics is headed to state prison. Darryl H. Cline, 53, of Geere Road was sentenced Monday to a prison term of two years. Allegany County Judge Thomas Brown also sentenced Cline to one year post release supervision. Cline, who had faced two felony counts, pleaded guilty Monday to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. District Attorney Keith Slep said that the crime took place 23 months ago in New Hudson, when Cline possessed and sold a narcotic preparation to a confidential informant working with the Allegany County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Unit.
