NY State Police Blotter

9/16/16 10:20am- State police arrested Benjamin J. Edelman, 38 of Swain, with unlawful growing of cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana. The incident occurred in the Town of Grove. Edelman was issued a court appearance ticket.
9/16/16 2:50pm- A larceny investigation that began June 16, 2016 in the City of Olean ended with an arrest. State police charged David T. Koch, 28 of Allegany, with felony grand larceny-credit card, criminal impersonation and petit larceny. He was issued court appearance tickets and released.
9/17/16 12:20am- During a traffic stop on Sugartown in Ellicottville, state police arrested Anthony G. Distefano, 41 of Ellicottville. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol level above .08% and crossing road hazard markings. He was released to a third party.
9/15/16 9:40am- After investigating a mischief complaint in Centerville September 9, 2016, state police arrested Joseph R. Kehl, 19 of Farmersville Station. He was charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny. He was released on appearance tickets for court.
9/16/16 6:20pm- State police arrested Matthew J. Wood, 44 of Corning. He was charged with felony criminal contempt following an incident in Avoca. He was detained.
9/16/16 6:46pm- State police arrested Neil E. Davis, 42 of Addison. He was charged with felony burglary, felony 3rd degree criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $3,000, felony criminal possession of stolen property 4th and intent to illegally use utility services. He was held for court action.
