NY State Police Blotter

9/5/16 5:55pm- During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in the Town of Genesee, state police arrested Robert D. Hewitt, 57, of Bolivar. He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony blood alcohol level above .08%, aggravated unlicensed operation and no license. He was released to a third party.
9/5/16 5:40pm- Following a disturbance in the Town of Urabana, state police arrested David A. Eaton, 48 of Bath. He was charged with disorderly conduct. Court action is pending.
9/6/16 5:05am- State police arrested 54-year-old Melford Olmstead of Avoca. He was charged by troopers with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. He was held on cash bail.

9/5/16 8:08pm- A Steuben County man and two others were arrested following a menacing complaint in the Town of Erwin. State police said they charged 21-year-old Michael Weir of Prattsburgh with felony criminal possession of a weapon as a convicted felon and the lesser crime of menacing with a weapon. He was arraigned and sent to Steuben County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. Troopers said two other men from downstate face similar charges. They were taken into custody on Meads Creek Road in Campbell.
