Wellsville Police made three arrests following a complaint regarding a disorderly driver on the Lagoon Road in Island Park. Police arrested Sara R. Douglas, age 30 of Bolivar, charging her with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; Larry L. Graves, age 46 of Little Genesee, charging him with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle; Carisa M. Schweigart, age 42 of Mills, PA, charging her with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and AUO 3rd. Douglas, Graves and Schweigart were all issued appearance tickets and are due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on September 27th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Matthew J. Ballengee, age 30 of Wellsville, charging him with a violation of a Conditional Discharge on previous charges of DWI, AUO 3rd, Resisting Arrest, Menacing 3rd, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 3rd, Criminal Mischief 4th and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Circulation. New York State Police located Ballengee in Friendship and transported him to Wellsville.
Ballengee was additionally charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd, Criminal Trespass 2nd and Criminal Mischief 4th, following an incident that took place on Howard Street on July 31st. Ballengee was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor. Ballengee was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,500.00 cash bail. Ballengee is due back in Wellsville Village Court on September 20th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police arrested Raymond D. Geffers, age 57 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Contempt 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Merriam Heights in the Village. Geffers was processed and arraigned before Town of Independence Judge Howe. Geffers was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail. Geffers is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
