Fillmore man gets prison sentence in theft case

Jeffrey L. Nendza, 33 of Fillmore was sentenced on September 26th to 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty to felony criminal possession of stolen property. He was also labeled a predicate felon. Prosecutors said in July, Nendza possessed a stolen TV, rolls of copper and a safe containing money. The crime occurred in the Town of Hume. During a restitution hearing on October 3rd, Judge Thomas Brown also ordered Nendza to pay back $2,600.
