NY State Police Blotter

10/4/16 10:42pm- State police arrested Ronald E. Nye, 46 of Wellsville. He was charged with two counts of criminal mischief and harassment with physical contact. The charges stem from a reported domestic dispute. He was released on his own recognizance.
10/5/16 3:57am- Following a disturbance in the Town of Willing, state police arrested Jason T. Hunt, 35 of Alma. He was charged with felony criminal mischief, resisting arrest and harassment with physical contact. He was held for court action.
10/4/16 9:35pm- State police arrested Dominique R. Waterman, 35 of Coudersport. She was stopped in the Village of Delevan and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. She was held for court action.

A Hornell is facing 56 felony counts. On Tuesday, state police arrested 30-year-old Andrew Burley. He was charged with 55 counts of falsifying business records and one count of grand larceny. Arraigned in court, he was held on $5,000 cash bail.

State police last night arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Comfort of Corning. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a stolen vehicle. The crime occurred a month ago in Lindley. Comfort was detained for court action.

A Campbell woman has been charged with offering a false instrument for filing.  54-year-old Cynthia Fairman allegedly presented to the Steuben County Department of Social Services as homeless, and while they were looking at her claim they determined that she had allegedly filed false paperwork in order to receive emergency housing.  Fairman was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.

State police on Tuesday arrested 34-year-old Jason Dillon of Corning. He was charged with felony falsifying business records and petit larceny. He was held for court action.
