LITTLE GENESEE - Paula J. Faulkner, 72, of 7493 Miller Hollow Road, Little Genesee, passed away peacefully after a brief illness Wednesday (Oct. 26, 2016) at her home, with loving family by her side.
A daughter of Paul and Jean Schmidt Miller, Paula was born Jan. 29, 1944, in Olean. She was a 1962 graduate of Bolivar Central School. On June 11, 1964, she married Frederick Faulkner, who predeceased her.
Paula enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She, alongside her husband, owned and operated Faulkner's Fruit Stand in Ceres for over 33 years. She also worked and retired from Portville Park & Shop Service Store in 2011.
Paula was a member of the Hinsdale Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving family include her three daughters, Lynne (Scott) Fuller of Little Genesee, Marnie (John) Scutt of Shinglehouse, Pa., and Laura (David) Jandrew of Bolivar; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Rebecca (Clark) Jacques of Little Genesee and Sandra (Michael) Majot of Ceres; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Cradduck.
Private services will be held for immediate family.
Arrangements are under direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home, Bolivar.
