Members of the Olean Police Street Crimes Unit Thursday night arrested 24-year-old Danee R. Ellis of 403 W. Riverside Dr. Olean for drug charges. Ellis was originally being sought this past Wednesday evening as part of a roundup of alleged drug dealers in the City of Olean, but was not located that night. Criminal sale of a controlled substance 4th degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree (both felony charges) were filed against Ellis by a Cattaraugus county grand jury indictment for selling allegedly Suboxin. After her arrest, Ellis was transported to the Cattaraugus county jail and is awaiting arraignment. According to Captain Robert Blovsky, Danee Ellis is one of the three people indicted recently by District Attorney Lori P. Rieman for Criminally Negligent Homicide involving the sale of drugs.
