Olean police search for robbery suspect

Olean Police are seeking the individual responsible for stealing cash from a female victim while at the 7-11 store located at 131 W. State St.. Captain Robert Blovsky said that at approximately 10:55 a.m. Saturday, a male standing in line near the victim grabbed the cash from the victims hand and ran out of the store in a northwest direction. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect and are still looking for him. The suspect was last seen near North 3rd. St and Laurens St.  The suspect was not armed and no one was injured in the robbery. The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’10” to 6’00” tall, medium build wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with lettering on the front, blue jeans and black boots. The suspect was carrying what looked like a light colored jacket. Suspect has dark colored hair and some facial hair.
