SJMH, Wilmot Cancer Institute and Cancer Services Program of Steuben County Team Up to Offer Screening and Assessment Day

St. James Mercy Hospital, in collaboration with UR Medicine's Wilmot Cancer Institute and the Cancer Services Program of Steuben County, will host a Screening and Assessment Day on Saturday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hornell office of Wilmot Cancer Institute, 21 Orchard Street.
Several reduced or no cost cancer checks will be available to the uninsured, underinsured, those without a physician, or to those who have not received a screening in several years. The services offered by staff members include: mammograms, clinical breast exams, pap smears, cholesterol (fasting), oral screenings, blood pressure checks, glucose, PSA, as well as prostate education sessions with a physician and colorectal cancer assessment.
