Troopers arrest 10 in Livingston County Prostitution Sting

The New York State Police, in conjunction with the Livingston County District Attorney, Greg McCaffrey’s office, report the arrest of 10 people on prostitution related offenses. 
On October 6th, 2016 the State Police, using social media sites, posed as both prostitutes and clients.  Meetings were set up in the town of Avon, Livingston County, where the individuals would meet undercover police officers and solicit sex for money.
 
-James D. Barnes, age 43 of Scottsville, NY arrested for Patronizing a Prostitute in the 3rd degree.
-Donald O. Cooper, age 25, of Rochester, NY arrested for Patronizing a Prostitute in the 3rd degree.
-Mitchell L. Morehouse, age 28, of Penn Yan, NY arrested for Patronizing a Prostitute in the 3rd degree.
-Patrick L. Levey, age 33, of Dansville, NY arrested for Patronizing a Prostitute in the 3rd degree. 
-Mariah F. Brown, age 24, of Rochester NY arrested for Prostitution.
-Latrice R. Burns, age 22, of Rochester NY arrested for Prostitution. 
-Kathleen M. Stebbins, age 23 of Rochester NY arrested for Promoting Prostitution 4th.
-Ava P. McGinnis, age 21, of Rochester NY arrested for Promoting Prostitution in the 4th degree.
-Angela M. Rodriguez, age 24, of Rochester NY arrested for Promoting Prostitution in the 4th degree.
-A 17 year old female from Rochester NY was arrested for Promoting Prostitution in the 4th degree.
 
All defendants were released on appearance tickets for the town of Avon Court.
