Troopers: Steuben man posted 'kill' list on Facebook

An investigation by New York State Police into threatening Facebook posts has resulted in the arrest of an Avoca man.  Christopher J. Brucie, age 24, of 12 N. Main St., Avoca, N.Y. has been charged with Making a Terroristic Threat, a class “D” felony. Senior Investigator Curt Eaton told RNN that Brucie allegedly posted a list of subjects on Facebook, and threatened to “kill them given the chance.”  Brucie was arraigned before Town of Urbana Justice William Yahn and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $15,000.00 cash bail/$30,000.00 property bond.  He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Urbana Court on 10/17/16 at 5:00 p.m.
