Wellsville Police Blotter


Date: Saturday October 8, 2016
Wellsville Police arrested Sara A. Ward, age 40 of Wellsville (shown in photo), charging her with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and Moved from Lane Unsafely.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on North Broad Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Ward was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Ward was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail.  Ward is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 18th at 4:30 p.m.  Cory J. Eck, age 33 of Wellsville, who was a passenger in the Ward vehicle, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.  Eck was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Eck was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500.00 cash bail.  Eck is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 18th at 4:30 p.m.

Date: Friday October 7, 2016
Wellsville Police arrested Dallas C. Weimer, age 22 of Wellsville, on a Family Court Warrant out of Livingston County.  Weimer was located on E. Hanover Street in the Village and taken into custody.  Weimer was turned over to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.  Weimer is due to appear in Livingston County Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Heather L. Weimer, age 43 of Wellsville, charging her with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on South Main Street in the Village.  Weimer was issued a traffic citation and released.  Weimer is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court November 8th at 4:30 p.m.
