Allegany County: Woman accused of drug crime at county jail

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on October 31st, 2016 following an investigation at the Allegany County Jail, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit Investigators arrested Sara A. Golish, age 24 of Shortsville (Ontario County), for the following charges:
- Attempted Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree.
- Conspiracy in the 5th Degree.
The arrest stems from an incident in which Golish allegedly attempted to introduce Suboxone into the Allegany County Jail during visitation. Golish who is currently incarcerated in the Allegany County Jail on other charges was processed by Investigators, transported to the Town of Amity Court where she was arraigned and then remanded back to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 bond.  Golish is to reappear in the Town of Amity Court on November 30th, 2016 for additional court action.
