(NOVEMBER 7) The Cuba, NY Chamber of Commerce, Inc. will host the annual “Many Splendored Evening” fundraiser on Saturday, November 19, from 7-9 p.m. at the Palmer Opera House & Event Center, located at 12 W Main Street in Cuba.
The fundraiser benefits the Cuba-Rushford Toys for Kids program which is part of the annual Holiday Assistance Program, hosted each year by the Chamber of Commerce, Cuba Council of Churches and the Rushford Ministerium. Working together, these organizations help make sure all area children have a happy holiday; proceeds from this event are used to purchase toys.
For many, this is the first holiday party of the season and the beautiful setting of the Palmer Opera House & Event Center will be appropriately decorated for the occasion. Guests will enjoy a delightful evening of wine tastings, delicious appetizers and desserts along with the opportunity to bid on holiday wreaths, trees, decorations and gift baskets.
“Some of the most creative members of our community step forward each year to create and donate some very special and unique holiday items anyone would welcome into their home,” said Chairperson Michele Conklin.
The evening also includes raffles, a 50-50 drawing and Christmas music.
Tickets for the event are $15 and include 2 glasses of wine or punch, as well as homemade desserts.
Tickets are available at The Perfect Blend Coffeehouse & Eatery, or from the Cuba NY Chamber of Commerce, Inc. For more information, to become a sponsor, or donate items, please contact the Cuba Chamber of Commerce office at 585-968-5654.
