JCC, Alfred State Announce Transfer Agreement

Jamestown Community College and Alfred State College have signed an articulation agreement that allows JCC graduates to transfer easily into Alfred State’s technology management program. The agreement guarantees junior standing for JCC students who graduate with an associate or associate in applied science degree and who have achieved at least a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0. JCC students are also guaranteed the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree in four semesters if they take specified courses as part of their associate’s degree. Students can automatically transfer 60 credit hours, but up to 78 JCC credit hours, leaving as few as 43 credits to be completed through Alfred State. An overview of the transfer agreement is available at www.sunyjcc.edu/transfer/agreements.
