Livingston County Sheriff's Blotter - Issued Nov. 21, 2016

The following persons were arrested as a result of investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office:

Janice A. Smalt, 68, Bath, NY, was arrested November 13, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08% or Greater, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Consuming Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle in Violation of Restrictions and Failure To Dim Headlights.  Following arraignment in York Town Court, Smalt was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.  Smalt will return to York Town Court to address charges on a later date.

Ryan J. Shellman, 23, Bloomfield, NY, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated as a felony, Blood Alcohol Content .08% or Greater, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and No/Improper Signal on November 11. Following arraignment in North Dansville Town Court, Shellman was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff on $2,500 cash bail/$5,000 property bond.  Shellman will return to North Dansville Town Court in response to charges on a later date.

Raymond M. Mandell, 35, Avon, NY, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on November 9.  Mandell was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff on $1,000 cash bail/ $2,000 property bond following arraignment in Avon Town Court. Mandel will return to Avon Town Court to answer charges on a later date.

Janet Flores, 41, and Luis E. Amaro, 22, residents of Rochester, NY, were arrested and charged with two counts each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree on November 8.  Following arraignment in Avon Town Court, Flores and Amaro were remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $5,000 cash bail and will return to Avon Town Court in response to charges on a later date.

Beth A. Fletcher, 51, Painted Post, NY, was charged November 7, with Driving While Ability Impaired-Drugs and Failure to Keep Right.  Fletcher will answer charges in York Town Court on a later date.
