Man rescued from Cuba Lake

Cuba firefighters were called to the North Shore of Cuba Lake at about 1:30 p.m. Friday when a man became trapped in a densely muddy area. Fire officials said they used an ice rescue sled, ropes and a roof ladder to reach the man. He was successfully returned to shore and evaluated by EMS. Cuba police and New Hudson volunteers assisted at the scene. Rescued completed the job in about 45 minutes. Photo's courtesy of Cuba Fire Department.
