NYSP Wall of Honor - Today we remember Trooper James D. Conrad

Image may contain: 1 person , closeupTrooper Conrad, age 30, was killed instantly on November 11, 1966 when a tractor trailer made a left hand turn into the path of Trooper Conrad's vehicle on Route 15 near Bath. As a result of an investigation, the truck driver was charged with failing to yield the right-of-way.
Trooper Conrad had served in the Marine Corps and Air Force before joining the State Police June 18, 1962. He served in Troops K and T before being assigned to SP Bath in 1964.
