Corning, NY--Tom Reed wins his race for re-election. “We are humbled by the outpouring of support from volunteers and voters,” said Tom Reed. “I care deeply about this place we call home. I am proud to have earned your trust. I am excited to continuing working for our families.”
Preliminary totals indicate that Reed defeated Democrat John Plumb by at least 13 points in the race for New York’s 23rd Congressional seat.
“We will put our record up against anyone’s because we have always fought to make sure New York got its fair share,” continued Reed. “Thank you for standing with us.”
WASHINGTON – National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden issued the following statement on Tom Reed’s victory in New York’s 23rd Congressional District:
“I would like to congratulate Tom Reed on his victory this evening in New York’s 23rd District. While in Congress, Tom has focused on creating jobs, reducing burdensome regulations on small businesses, and tackling our nation’s crippling debt. His vision has resonated with voters and I am happy Tom will continue to fight for 23rd District families in Congress in 2017.”
