Steuben woman killed in North Dansville crash

NORTH DANSVILLE: Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports that on November 7th at 3:26 p.m., the Livingston County Emergency Communications Center (E-911) received a call for a one car motor vehicle collision with a culvert on Route 63 near Zerfass Road in the Town of North Dansville.
The initial responding Deputies found that a minivan was traveling south on Route 63 and left the roadway, coming to rest after striking a culvert. The driver of the vehicle was found to be unresponsive.   Deputies were on scene within 1 minute of the initial call and began performing CPR until EMS units arrived on scene.
The driver was transported to Noyes Memorial Hospital where she was ultimately pronounced deceased.   The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 66-year-old Neleene Green from Perkinsville, NY. 
The Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation into the incident.
Investigating on scene for the Sheriff's Office was Captain Norm Zeh, Captain Brian Applin, Investigator Gene Chichester, Investigator Jeff Wiedrick, Deputy Mike Didas, Deputy Scott Patterson, and Forensic Identification Unit Deputies Bob Holt and Matt Moran.
Responding Fire and Ems units were from the Dansville Fire Department, Dansville Ambulance, Livingston County EMS and ALS. Also assisting at the scene was Officer Larry Burley from the Dansville Police Department.
