Woman arrested after Wyoming County crash

Andrea Stern-Manley, 46 of Wyoming, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief  in the Fourth Degree (misdemeanor), Failure To Keep Right, Move From Lane Unsafely, and Refusal to Take Pre Screen Device following a roll over motor vehicle accident on East Bethany Road in the Town of Middlebury.
During the accident, the Stern-Manley vehicle had rolled coming to final rest on its side. Stern-Manley was trapped in the driver’s seat by her seatbelt when police and fire arrived on scene. Once extracted from the vehicle, Stern-Manley was placed under arrest for DWI. She refused a breath test and had her driver’s license suspended for refusing. Stern-Manley was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. She is to appear in the Middlebury Town Court on 12/05/2016. Wyoming Fire Department and Warsaw Ambulance assisted at the scene.
